LI Golf Fundraiser To Benefit Mobile Screening Of Prostate Cancer

Money raised from Monday's golf outing will support the development of sprinter vans in partnership with Man Cave Health. ​​

LAKE SUCCESS, NY — An annual golf event will be benefit mobile screening for prostate cancer.

The Milana Family Foundation Golf Outing is on Monday at the Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success.

Money raised will support the development of sprinter vans in partnership with Man Cave Health.

One of the vans will be deployed in coordination with Mount Sinai Hospital on Long Island.

Their goal is to complete the first three vans by September and launch them for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Since its inception in 2008, the Milana Family Foundation has raised money and awareness for various across the country.

In 2016, Tom Milana, Jr. was diagnosed with prostate cancer. As he recovered, Milana saw the need for more awareness about men's health issues and the non-profit organization Man Cave Health was born.
