On Wednesday, Dec. 11, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students at the Manor Oaks School in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District celebrated the winter holidays through song and instrumental music.Led by band and jazz band teacher Ms. Carolyn Goodman; chorus teacher, Mrs. Sharon Pesenti; and orchestra teacher, Ms. Mary Eileen McNamee, the students shared their musical talents to parents, teachers, administrators, members of the school board and members of the community.Highlights included a jazzy Showbiz Santa song with chorus and dancers, a jazzy 'Gonna Catch that Santa song for chorus, Christmas Cards and Carols by the band and jazz band, and an orchestral rendition of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.<a href="http://facebook.com/newhydeparkpatch" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Get New Hyde Park news on Facebook</a>
