New Hyde Park Student To Represent New York At National Science Camp
Annually, the camp invites 102 delegates to attend a 3-week forum, where they can connect with top scientists and industry professionals.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A student from New Hyde Park has been chosen to represent New York State at the 2022 National Youth Science Camp this summer.
Anitta Kottai, of New Hyde Park Memorial High School, was selected to attend the camp, which runs from June 27 to July 20. Annually, the camp invites 102 delegates — two from each state and the District of Columbia — to participate in a three-week forum, where they can connect with leading scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds.
The New York State Education Department selected Kottai to attend due to her demonstration of academic proficiency, leadership in school and community activities, and a passion and curiosity for STEM fields, according to a press release.
