New Hyde Park World Language Department Gets Grant
Italian American Committee on Education donates materials which will benefit around 300 high school students.

The New Hyde Park Memorial High School world languages’ department received a $1,700 grant from the Italian American Committee on Education.
The money was used to purchase Italian readers, advanced placement books and cultural films. New Hyde Park Italian teachers are excited to begin incorporating the materials into their lessons for approximately 300 students.
World language chairwoman Josephine Tardio expressed her gratitude to IACE for their continued support of New Hyde Park students studying Italian language and culture.
