North Hempstead's Menorah Lighting, Chanukah Festival Happens Sunday
The annual tradition will take place at Mary Jane Davies Green in Manhasset and feature Manhasset's HS band, ice carving, gelt drop.
MANHASSET, NY — The Town of North Hempstead and Chabad of Manhasset will celebrate the beginning of Chanukah this Sunday with the annual Chanukah Festival & Menorah Lighting at Mary Jane Davies Green at 3 p.m.
The Manhasset High School band will perform and there will be a live ice carving of a menorah. The Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department will help stage a chocolate gelt drop, and then the menorah will be lit.
Mary Jane Davies Green is across from Town Hall, 220 Plandome Rd.
