Police Release Photo Of Failed Bank Robber

Police have released a surveillance photo of the man who tried to rob a Floral Park bank last month.

According to authorities, a man entered Citibank, located at 215 Jericho Turnpike, approached a teller and passed her a note demanding money on Monday, Dec. 11 at 12:52 p.m. The teller did not comply with the man's demands, causing him to flee the bank westbound on Lowell Avenue without proceeds, police say.

Police described the man as white, 25 to 30 years old, and wearing a black business suit, white shirt, red tie, dark wool hat with ear flaps, black puffy jacket, black gloves and dark large framed sunglasses.
