Voter's Guide: Herricks School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of Herricks schools will vote on the district's $114,391,671 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 2.86 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.55 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Two candidates are running unopposed for two open seats on the East Williston Board of Education. They are incumbents Nancy Feinstein and Brian R. Hassan, according to Newsday.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Herricks Community Center.
