'Walk Of Love' Ronald McDonald House's Largest Area Event This Weekend
The event for all ages is on Saturday, May 3.
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Long Islanders are invited to participate in the annual Ronald McDonald House "Walk of Love" this weekend.
More than 30 teams have signed on to take part in the May 3 event, including Savannah's Legacy, which has raised over $8,000 in memory of their infant daughter who passed away at 17 days old.
The Walk of Love and Certified 5K is RMHC New York Metro’s largest community event of the year and raises essential funds for sick children and families across Long Island and the greater New York Metro region.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. The opening ceremony starts at 8:45 a.m. A 5k run race is 9. The Walk of Love begins at 9:15, followed by a Kids Fun Run at 10 a.m. It begins and ends at the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park, 267-07 76th Avenue.
Early registration is $25, while it's $40 to sign up on the day of the run/walk.
