New Rochelle Driver Arrested for Forged License

A New Rochelle driver who was stopped on South Main Street in Port Chester for traffic violations has been arrested on a charge of possessing a forged driver's license, according to Port Chester Police.

Yordy Lopez, 21, of 174 North Ave., New Rochelle, was stopped by police about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. During the routine traffic stop, police said they discovered Lopez had a forged Connecticut driver's license.

She was arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and her car was impounded.

Lopez faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
