Chowder Contest Returns To Greenport Saturday

GREENPORT, NY — A delicious event is set to unfold once again in Greenport this weekend as a crowd-pleasing favorite, the Chowder Contest, returns.

Restaurants participating include Claudio’s, Ellen's On Front, The Halyard, Lucharitos, Noah’s, Port Waterfront and more.

The event kicks off Saturday, October 12, at the Port Waterfront Bar & Grill, located at 104 Third Street.

Following is the schedule for the event:

11:30 a.m. – Check in and bracelet pick-up at the museum
Noon - Doors open at Port Waterfront
3 p.m - Judging (Peoples' Choice and Judges' Choice)
4 p.m. - Music by Greg Humphreys and Friends

Tickets cost $25 in advance and $35 at the door; the event includes a 50/50.

All proceeds support the East End Seaport Museum.
