Croteaux Vineyards Closes for Weekend in Memory of Chester Skwara
Longtime North Fork farmer Chester Skwara died on Wednesday at the age of 86.
in Southold has announced that they will be closed Saturday and Sunday to honor Chester Skwara, who died on Wednesday at the age of 86.
According to the Croteaus, lifelong farmer Skwara was a father, husband and grandfather who loved the vineyard, the wine and the whole of the North Fork.
The wake will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at in Southold. The funeral mass takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. at in Cutchogue.
