MATTITUCK, NY — A fire broke out in an attached garage at a home in Mattituck Wednesday night, officials said.

According to the Mattituck Fire Department, the fire was reported at 9:43 p.m. at the home, located on Westview Drive.

One person was home at the time and no injuries were reported, police said.

The Mattituck Fire Department responded to the fire; the Cutchogue and Jamesport Fire Departments were also on scene to assist, and the Southold Fire Department covered any other calls for the MFD.
