Jan. 9: How to Spell Gilbert, Gershwin and Sullivan

The music of Gilbert and Sullivan, Gershwin and Handel will fill the air while wordsmiths have the opportunity to try out for a play about a spelling bee on this cold and snowy North Fork Sunday.

1. The in Mattituck will hold open auditions at 6:30 p.m for an upcoming production of the play, “The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” The session is open to all but you better know your Broadway hits, as the try-out requires you to sing a few bars of theatrical fovorties.
