Peconic Man Crashed Motorcycle Into Pole, Had Loaded Handgun: PD
He was also charged with driving while intoxicated during the Cutchogue crash, police say.
CUTCHOGUE, NY — A Peconic motorcyclist was arrested Sunday night after he crashed into a telephone pole in Cutchogue — and was found with a loaded handgun, police said.
According to Southold Town police, the incident took place Sunday at 10:07 p.m. on Eugenes Road; police received a report about a crash at the location, authorities said.
Charles Sisino, 24, of Peconic, lost control of his motorcycle and struck a telephone pole, police said. During the investigation, Sisino was determined to be intoxicated and was also found to be in possession of a loaded, illegal handgun, police said.

Sisino was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, loaded firearm, a felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor; unlawful possession of certain ammunition feeding device; and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, police said.
He was transported to Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital where he was treated and was then transported to the Southold Town Police Department, where he was held until his arraignment, police said.
