Peconic Ranked Among Most Expensive Zip Codes in America: Forbes
The North Fork hamlet ranked among the top 500 most expensive, according to new list.
Peconic recently made Forbes’ recently released list of the top 500 most expensive zip codes in America.
In order to find the most expensive zip codes, Altos Research took the median home price data for more than 29,500 zip codes covering 95 percent of the country’s population, according to Forbes.
Peconic (11958) ranked number 397 on the list with a median price of $1,115,260.

On the East End, Sagaponack (11962) came in second overall with a median price of $7,416,538, with Atherton, CA (94027) coming in first with a median price of $10,564,038.
Other Hamptons locations in the top 50 most expensive include: Water Mill (11976), which came in 18 with a median price of $4,221,615; Wainscott (11975) which came in 21 with a median price of $4,148,077; and Bridgehampton coming in 26 with a median price of $3,992,269.
