GREENPORT, NY — It's time to don the pirate hats and mermaid tails — the 34th Annual Maritime Festival, presented by the East End Seaport Museum in Greenport, is set to take place this weekend, September 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event, which this year honors Douglass Marine at the Grand Marshal, features the annual Merry Merfolk Parade — the parade kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m. — a Cardboard Boat Regatta, boat races, vendors, food, music, maritime demonstrations, and more.
