Police Report: Aggravated DWI, Shoplifting
Southold Town Police report an incident of driving while intoxicated and one of shoplifting over the weekend.

Scott Anderson, 24, of Mattituck was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Monday at 1:20 a.m. after police stopped him for speeding on Route 25 in Cutchogue, police said. Anderson was found to be intoxicated and was held overnight for arraignment.
William Ronayne, 19, of Middle Village was charged with petit larceny on Sunday at 4:47 p.m. after police responded to a report of shoplifting at Handy Pantry in Mattituck, police said. Officers on the scene identified Ronayne as the suspect who allegedly attempted to leave the store with a package of frozen cookie dough without paying for it, police said. Ronayne was arrested and later released on cash bail.
