Power Restored In Peconic After Brief Outage: PSEG LI

PECONIC, NY — Neighbors wondering why the lights went off in parts of Southold Town Wednesday afternoon soon saw power restored, said PSEG Long Island.

The outage was reported in Peconic on County Road 48; the cause of the outage is under investigation, PSEG Long Island said.

The majority of customers saw their power restored in about 50 minutes; the rest, in about eight minutes, PSEG Long Island said.
