Shelter Island Man Accused Of Operating Restaurant, Bar Without Valid Liquor License: Police
The incident took place on December 30, police say.
SHELTER ISLAND, NY — A Shelter Island man was arrested after reportedly operating a restaurant and bar without a valid liquor license, police said.
According to Shelter Island police, Bradley T. Kitkowski, 61, was arrested during an State Liquor Authority inspection on December 30 at his restaurant, Isola, located on Grand Avenue in Shelter Island Heights.
He was arrested and charged with violating Section 100, Subdivision 1 of the New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, after it was determined that he was operating a restaurant and bar serving alcoholic beverages without a valid liquor license, police said.

Kitkowski was processed and released on an appearance ticket directing him to appear in Shelter Island Justice Court at a later date, police said.
The incident will be referred to the New York State Liquor Authority for further review and administrative action, police said.
