Shelter Island’s 25th Annual Fall 5K Run/Walk Coming Soon
The event increases awareness and support for the North and South Fork Breast Health Coalitions and Lucia's Angels.

SHELTER ISLAND, NY — An event is coming soon aimed that brings the East End together to support local cancer charities in their ongoing mission of hope.
Shelter Island’s 25th Annual Fall 5K Run/Walk, organized to garner support for the North and South Fork Breast Health Coalitions and Lucia’s Angels in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will take place Saturday, October 19 at 11 a.m. rain or shine at Crescent Beach.
Pre-registration will be $45 for both walkers and runners, kids 12-and-under are $25. Day of registration will cost $50 for both walkers and runners and $30 for kids 12-and-under.

Participants will receive T-shirts, bibs, post-race refreshments, food, awards and a complimentary BBQ(while supplies last). Runners may register online here.
All proceeds benefit women on the East End fighting breast and gynecological cancer through East End organizations The North Fork Breast Health Coalition, The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and Lucia’s Angels.

Tickets will also be available for a 50/50 raffle and silent auction with prizes to East End restaurants and shops including American Hotel, Vine Street Café, Shelter Island Pilates & Barre, Gloria Jewel and more. All proceeds raised from the raffle will benefit Lucia’s Angels.
