Shelter Island Woman Charged With DWI After Crash: Police
She was arrested Saturday night, police say.
SHELTER ISLAND, NY — A Shelter Island woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash Saturday night, police said.
According to police, the crash took place on Manhanset Road on Shelter Island at 10:41 p.m. Rosa Cristina DeJesus, 31, of Shelter Island, was arrested and charged with DWI, first offense, and moving from the lane unsafely, Shelter Island police said.
She was held overnight, arraigned at Shelter Island Justice Court, and released on her own recognizance, police said.
