Skate Park Showcase Bursts Into Greenport Saturday

NORTH FORK, NY — Greenport will come alive Saturday as a Skate Park Showcase brings a sea of talent and music to the village.

The event takes place at the Greenport Village Skate Park, located on Moores Lane, from noon to 3 p.m.

"It's our first event of 2024, where we invite Long Island professional and novice photographers and videographers to the park to help us create content for our social media account," said Rena Wilhelm, who has spearheaded efforts to breathe new life into the facility. "It is a day of networking and celebration for our community. Riverhead DJ Polo Marty will be spinning old and new-school hip-hop in the background of skateboarders, scooter riders, roller skaters, inline skaters, and BMX enthusiasts."
