Sweet Stray Nellie Still Has No Family On LI— Just Needs A Chance
"She is a real love with the cutest smile."

NORTH FORK, NY — A little dog, just a year old, has won hearts with her adorable smile. But she still has no forever home to call her own.
According to Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations at The League on the North Fork, Nellie is a year old. "She came into another shelter as a stray back in March. She has tested well with other dogs."
Nellie arrived at the Southold location of the North Fork Animal Welfare League on Thursday, with other dogs on a life-saving transport, Stroup said.
