'Distant Memories' Swim for Alzheimers
Elite swimmers will swim over 3 miles from Asharoken Beach to Knollwood Beach in Centerport to raise money supporting families in crisis whose loved ones are battling Alzheimers disease. 10 a.m. Monday at Asharoken Beach.

Tribal Belly Dance Class
Experience tribal belly dance at Inner Spirit Yoga in East Northport Monday night at 7:30 p.m. Learn pronounced isometric movements, a deeper feeling of earthy sensuality and an over all more ethnic feel, even when the music has an underbelly of rock and roll. 

'Cabaret' Art Opening/Costume Contest
Chat with artist Erich J. Preis at the opening of his exhibit 'Cabaret' in pastels, inspired by French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and painted from live cabaret models. 1920's Cabaret/Gangster attire is encouraged.  Dinner for two for Campari Ristorante and Engeman Theater tickets will be given as a prize for the 
best costume. 7 p.m. Wednesday at Campari.

Lascaux Cave Art Program for Young Adults
Learn about the history of the cave paintings in Lascaux, France then learn how to draw your own cave art.

Northport Animal Clinic Adoptathon
Adoptable dogs & cats, raffles and refreshments. LAP will have merchandise available for sale, V & F Meats will be cooking up delicious food & Just Dogs Gourmet will have some tasty treats for Fido. Lindsey’s Groom Room will be on hand to give free doggy baths with a donation to LAP & Dr. Heller will be offering free rabies vaccines & micro-chipping for $35. Sunday, 11 a.m. at Northport Animal Clinic.
