Here are some of the recent arrests made in Northport. None of the defendants has been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below.
A Brentwood man, 25, whom police observed speeding and committing an unsafe lane change was charged with false personation and vehicle and traffic law violations on Jan. 5 on Reservoir Avenue.
A Greenlawn man, 22, was stopped by police on Fort Salonga Road after he was observed speeding and driving a vehicle with tinted side windows. He was issued a field appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana on Jan. 5.
