Cops Nab East Northport Church Wallet Thief: Police

The man who stole a woman’s wallet from an East Northport church and used her credit cards last month was arrested on Monday, police say.

According to authorities, Stephen Anzalone, 42, of Northport, entered St. Anthony’s of Padua Church, located at 20 Cheshire Place, and stole an employee’s wallet on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Police say he then used credit cards that were in the stolen wallet later that day.

Anzalone was arrested on Monday and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
