East Northport Learning Center Wins 2nd Bethpage Best Award
It marks the second year in a row the learning center won the Long Island-wide award.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — The Huntington Learning Center of East Northport was named Best Learning Center for a second year in a row in the 17th annual Bethpage Best of Long Island awards, according to the learning center.
The center has helped more than 5,000 local students of all ages and abilities become better students by improving their grades and study habits, boosting their confidence, achieving high scores on the SAT/ACT, preparing for college success and more, according to the center.
“Education is everything to us and this recognition really belongs to our teachers, who work so
hard for the students,” Tara Flynn of the East Northport Huntington Learning Center stated. “This award is a direct result of improvements in student performance. That is why we are here, and that is what we focus on every single day."

In three months, on average, the center's tutoring students increase 1.2 grade levels in reading and 1 grade level in math, according to the center. On average, Huntington’s test prep students increase 290 points on the SAT and 7 points on the ACT in two-and-a-half months.
"With results like that, it should not be surprising that we just had another student this last week receive approximately $350,000 in college scholarships," Flynn stated.
