Film Festival; Auto Show and More this Weekend
A look at upcoming events and activities in town this weekend.

Bare Bones Film Festival
Three original films featuring local actors and filmmakers trained at the Bare Bones Theater Company's adult acting school will be screened in the Bare Bones performance space at 57 Main St., Northport at 7 p.m.. The evening kicks off with a documentary about the making of an upcoming holiday film, "Christmas Tears," which is due for release later this year. Classic Auto Show
The Northport Centerport Lions Club is hosting its 50th Antique and Classic Auto Show in the Heckscher Park in Huntington Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. There will be cars of every generation, from the 1920's through to the 2010's. More details can be found at: www.nptcptlions.com.
Off the Walls Block Party
Artists will be painting the Huntington Arts Council building during a giant block party Saturday from 2-6 p.m. The Off the Walls block party features Sonic, Phetus and MasPaz.
Jr. Marine Biologist for ages 3-5
Kids, ages 3-5 can learn about marine life with animals, beach activities and crafts at Centerport Beach Sunday at 10 a.m. $25 per child with an adult. Call 239-1800 or kc355@cornell.edu for info and to register. The event will also be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Northport Little League Registration
Registration is now open for Northport Little League's Fall Baseball Season. Cost is $85. Registration is open through Aug. 25 at www.northportll.org.
