Floating Docks Signal Boating Season
Northport Village Dock expands to meet the demands of upcoming boating season.
Another sign that summer is around the corner: Floating docks have returned to Northport Harbor.
Village Administrator Gene Guido confirmed that Seymours Boatyard installed the four floating docks, which attach like appendages to the Village Dock, in the last week.
The Northport Fire boat was seen tied up there Monday.
But with the boating season just around the corner, expect dinghies to take over soon enough.
