Fundraiser to Remember Lost Friend, Father of Four
Darin Finkelstein, 37, died in October, leaving behind his wife and four children.
A Northport Family is fundraising to help a local family after the death of Darin Finkelstein, a husband and father of four young children, who died in October at the age of 37.
Finkelstein, a Half Hollow Hills High School West graduate, died Oct. 15 and left behind his wife Suzanne and children: Shane, age 11; Chayse, age 6; Clayton, age 3; and Maddy, age 1.
"We are creating this fund to provide support and to ease the financial burden during this time of great loss," Antoinette Maresca-King wrote on her Go Fund Me webpage.
The fundraising goal is to reach $20,000. So far, about $12,600 has been raised.
