Halloween Hayrides in the Park

The Northport Chamber of Commerce Halloween Hayride returns on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 12-4 p.m. in Village Park.

Admission is $3 per person and includes a hayride, 1 pumpkin per child (with ticket, refreshments from Copenhagen Bakery, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, costume contest with prizes, and Halloween treats. Music will be provided by Country Rascals.

The costume contest begins at 2 p.m. First prize receives four tickets to a John W. Engeman Children's Theater production, second prize receives $40 in Northport Dollars, third prize receives $20 in Northport Dollars.

On Monday, Oct. 31, the Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Halloween Safe Zone downtown with safe trick or treating at participating businesses from 1-4 p.m.
