Harborfields High School Welcomes Russo as Assistant Principal
Russo started his education career at St. Anthony's High School in Huntington as a social studies teacher.

At the February Harborfields Central School District Board of Education meeting, Timothy Russo was appointed as the new assistant principal of Harborfields High School and will officially assume his duties on July 1, 2015.
Russo started his education career at St. Anthony’s High School in Huntington as a social studies teacher. Two years later, Russo began working as a Harborfields High School social studies teacher. That led to a transition to becoming dean in the student management office. Russo has coached Harborfields boys and girls cross-country, winter and spring track, boys lacrosse and boys basketball.
Russo received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Marist College and his Master of Arts in secondary education from Dowling College. In 2009, Russo earned his advanced certification in educational leadership from C.W. Post Long Island University.

“I am extremely excited to have the chance to work with the exceptional leadership team that is in place in the Harborfields School District,” Russo said. “I look forward to continuing to support our students, teachers and community as a whole in achieving the excellence we are all accustomed to.”
