EAST NORTHPORT, NY — The community is rallying to support an East Northport man who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Commack earlier this month.

Aaron Hall, 25, was involved in a collision with a car making a left turn onto Morewood Drive around 5 p.m. Oct. 11, Suffolk police said.

Hall was rushed to the hospital and immediately underwent brain surgery to be treated for complications and multiple brain bleeds, said Emily Doyle, who organized a fundraiser for Hall. Hall is also suffering from two broken wrists, a broken bone in one of his arms, and a fracture to his clavicle. Staff of the ICU are running tests to find out if Hall has suffered any other injuries.

The fundraiser has raised more than $7,500 of its $250K goal as of Tuesday.

"We are asking that you please consider helping us grow a small piggy bank for Aaron when he needs us the most," Doyle said. "Aaron is the sole provider for himself and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future. The proceeds are going towards his bills and all medical expenses. Aaron is a strong, determined young man who is now fighting for his life. He is someone who would help anyone. Aaron is a loved son, friend, and boyfriend. Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. His family thanks you for your prayers, considerations, love, and kind words."
