Man, Daughters Rescued From Disabled Boat In Long Island Sound
The water rescue occurred on Saturday afternoon.

A man and his two children were rescued from a disabled boat in Long Island Sound waters on Saturday afternoon.
According to Suffolk Police, 48-year-old Fort Salonga resident Brian Curly and his two daughters, ages 6 and 9, were on a 22-foot Striper bow rider about 200 yards off shore, just east of Eaton's Neck, when he says the boat struck something in the water and became disabled at 2:10 p.m.
Curly called 911 and requested assistance. Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau officers responded and towed the vessel to Soundview Boat Ramp in Northport.
