Man Drove With 28 License Suspensions In Northport: Police

A man was arrested for driving with 28 license suspensions in Northport Village on Saturday, June 30, police say.

According to authorities, officers pulled over 32-year-old Smithtown resident Nicholas Fasanelli after he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Woodbine Avenue and Beach Avenue at 4:29 p.m.

Police then determined he was driving without a license and previously had 28 suspensions, including 19 on 11 occasions, police say.

Fasanelli was arrested and charged with multiple vehicle and traffic locations. He posted $2,500 bail and was set to return to court on Monday.
