Man Steals Package From East Northport Home's Porch: Police

The package contained six iPhones and was worth $6K, police say.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A man stole a package from the porch of an East Northport home in April, police said, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding him.

A man nabbed a package containing six iPhones, valued at roughly $6,000, from the porch of a home on Vernon Valley Road, around 10:45 a.m. April 19, police said. He drove away in a black BMW, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
