Mother/Daughter Communication Workshop

Hello and welcome to the Tuesday edition of "The Daily Five," a rundown of things to know or do in the community.

3. Mother/Daughter Communication Workshop: YDA in partnership with Laura L. Marr, LCSW of Northport Therapy and Counseling Services, is excited to offer a free mother/daughter group entitled It‘s Complicated. The early teenage years can be a frustrating time for both mothers and daughters often involving many tears and unrest. To better help ease this transition,  It’s Complicated will focus on enhancing the important skills and vital connections necessary for opening the lines of communication and promoting healthy dialogue. 7 Diane Ct, East Northport at 6 p.m
