Motorcylist Dies In Suffolk Crash Saturday: Police

The deadly crash took place in East Northport, police say.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A motorcyclist was killed and a driver injured in a crash in East Northport Saturday afternoon, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place on Pulaski Road at Stony Hollow Road at 2:22 p.m.

A 29-year-old from Huntington Station was driving a 2024 Toyota Tacoma eastbound on Pulaski Road when his vehicle was struck by 2024 Yamaha motorcycle; the motorcyclist was turning left to go westbound on Pulaski Road from northbound on Stony Hollow Road, police said.

The motorcyclist, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was administered first aid at the scene by the East Northport Fire Department andtransported to Huntington Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.

The man was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries via Greenlawn Rescue, police said.

Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
