Northport-East Northport School Budget Preview For 2024-25
See what's on the ballot, including the school budget and school board candidates, before you head to the polls on Tuesday.
NORTHPORT, NY — Northport and East Northport residents are set to head to the polls on Tuesday, May 21.
The vote is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voters will head to Dickinson Avenue, Fifth Avenue and William J. Brosnan schools — wherever their designated polling place is.
The Northport-East Northport proposed budget is $187,932,561, an increase of 2.67 percent from last year. The proposed tax levy is $157,214,163, an increase of 2.33 percent — below the tax levy limit.

Two board of education seats are available. Four candidates are running for them: Victoria Bento, Michael Cleary, Paul Darrigo and Carol Taylor (incumbent).
