Northport Girls Lacrosse Coach Celebrates 400th Win

Congratulations to coach Carol Rose.

Northport High School girls lacrosse coach Carol Rose recently earned her 400th career victory on April 24. Coach Rose and husband brought the sport of girls lacrosse to Northport High School in 1990 — since then, the program has achieved many New York State, Long Island, Suffolk County and league titles. Northport has one of the top-placed lacrosse programs in New York, and is currently the top “Class A” team in the state.

“Congratulations to Coach Rose for your commitment to the game of lacrosse,” said Mark Dantuono, director of health, physical education & athletics, “and for the hard work you’ve put into obtaining excellence in this program.”
