Monday, March 4
At 6:51 a.m., police responded to a location on Eatons Neck Road to the incident location to a report of an injured deer. On arrival, undersigned euthanized the injured deer. Northport Village Highway will remove the deer from the side of roadway.

At 8:46, police responded to a location on Fort Salonga Road to a report of a reckless driver in a small while vehicle. The undersigned canvassed the area with negative results.
Wednesday, March 6

At 6:22 p.m., police responded to a location on Laurel Avenue for the report of wires on a truck. Upon arrival the driver stated he was backing the tractor trailer when the cable wire got caught on the rear of the trailer and pulled the pole to the point that the pole snapped. The pole appeared to be rotted at the base. No damage to the truck. PSE&G were notified and responded.
At 7:16 p.m., police responded to a location on Main Street for a report of a dog left in a parked vehicle for hours. Undersigned located the vehicles registered owner who agreed to take the animal home. No further action necessary.
Thursday, March 7
At 7:33 a.m., police responded to a location on Main Street for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival the caller requested assistance with speaking to her daughter about attending school. Same accomplished without incident.
At 3:20 p.m., a complainant responded to Northport Police headquarters to report that the above subject started yelling at her from his car and asked her to pull her vehicle over. Upon the complaint stopping her vehicle the subject stated that I collided with him. The complainant stated that she did not collided with any vehicle and was concerned that it might be a possible scam. Undersigned officer attempted to contact the other party with no avail, a phone message was left to contact this agency. The complainant wanted a police report for information purposes. The subject was advised if an accident did occur that it was not in Northport Police jurisdiction and would have to file any report of with Suffolk County Police. No further police action required.
Friday, March 8
At 12:02 p.m., police responded to a location on Woodside Avenue for a report of a parking complaint. Upon arrival the listed truck was being loaded with asbestos during a building cleanup project.
At 7:03 p.m., police responded to a location on Milland Road for the report of an adult male sick. Northport Rescue responded and transported the aided to Huntington Hospital.
Saturday, March 9
At 5:18 a.m., police responded to a location on Main Street for the report of an adult male disoriented. Northport Rescue responded and transported the aided to Huntington Hospital.
At 1:11 p.m., police responded to Municipal Lot 9 on Union Place for the report of vehicle parked in a Permit Only parking space. Upon arrival, the undersigned located a 2017 Hyundai parked without a permit. Appropriate summons issued.
At 2:14 p.m., police responded to Laurel Avenue for a report of a male and a female using narcotics in a vehicle. Undersigned located the subjects where one was found to possess controlled substances. The other female subject was advised by the Napper Tandy's manager that was he no longer welcome in the establishment. Undersigned officer witnessed the warning and further explained to the female subject that if she entered the premise again she would be arrested for criminal trespass.
