A Parking Ticket Amnesty Program for outstanding or past due parking tickets will be offered for one month, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.
The program will offer a 40 percent discount on the original amount due on all parking tickets.
The Village of Northport sent letters to anyone with past due parking tickets just before this ticket amnesty program started. The letters included the discounted amount that should be paid and instructions on how to pay.
