From up close the Northport Power Station Stacks take on an otherworldly quality like giant sentinels standing guard of some unknown treasure.
This picture was taken Tuesday evening from right below the stacks. Asharoken held their board of trustees meeting at the plant and visitors saw a whole new perspective on an industrial behemoth that can sometimes seem like just another part of the landscape.
