Police Log: Child Hurt In Fall, Road Rage Incident, Possible Scam
Excerpts from the Northport Police Department log.

Monday, Nov. 5
At 7:47 a.m., police received a report of a disturbance in which landscapers were blowing leaves on Union Place. Officers arrived to the scene and canvassed the area to no avail.
At 5:22 p.m., police responded to a report of a carbon monoxide activation on Cherry Street. Northport firefighters checked the area to find no levels of carbon monoxide.

Tuesday, Nov. 6
At 11:10 a.m., police responded to a Sir Kenneth Court location for the report of grand larceny involving a possible scam.

At 2:14 p.m., police responded to a Fairwind Court location for the report of a child with injuries from a fall. Northport Rescue transported the child to Huntington Hospital.
At 4:38 p.m., police received a report of a road rage incident in which a man struck a woman's vehicle on Fort Salonga Road. The man said he did not strike any vehicles and did not realize anyone was following him. There was no damage to either vehicle, police say.
