Police Log: Overdose Rescues, DWI Arrest, Electrical Fire

Monday, Oct. 15
At 6:35 p.m., police received a noise complaint for a tenant who was putting his TV volume up all the way between the hours of 11 p.m. through the early morning on Burr Avenue.

At 12:53 a.m., police responded to a Main Street location for the report of a man overdosing on Oxycodone. Northport Rescue transported the man to Huntington Hospital.
At 6:37 a.m., police responded to a Burt Avenue location for the report of a woman with injuries from a fall. Northport Rescue transported the woman to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.

Thursday, Oct. 18
At 10:34 p.m., police responded to Skipper's Pub on Main Street for the report of a woman who overdosed. An officer administered Narcan. She was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment by Northport Rescue.
Friday, Oct. 19
At 1:03 a.m., a 17-year-old Huntington Station man was arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after he was found to be in possession of three ounces of the substance on Fort Salonga Road. He was additionally charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
At 6:02 a.m., police responded to a Church Street location to investigate a motion alert from a home's security camera. It was determined that the resident's cat and dog activated the alert.
Saturday, Oct. 20
At 1:53 a.m., police responded to a Highland Avenue location for an automatic medical alert activation. Northport Rescue already responded and made entry through a window. Once inside, it was determined the resident accidentally activated the alarm.
At 2:11 a.m., Victoria Schultz, 24, of Huntington Station, was arrested for DWI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (concentrated cannabis oil) after police say she unlawfully drove across the sidewalk on Main Street.
At 3:37 a.m., police responded to The Wine Cellar on Main Street for the report of a possible electrical fire. Northport Rescue arrived and found a faulty light switch. The Fire Marshall was notified and the fire department responded to the scene.
Sunday, Oct. 21
At 9:50 a.m., police responded to a Soper Avenue location for the report of a man acting irrational due to using heroin, according to his wife. The man denied using the drug, but agreed to go to the hospital to be medically evaluated. Northport Rescue transported him to Huntington Hospital.
At 9:57 p.m., police responded to a Hill Street location after receiving a 911 hang up call with a woman crying on the other end.
