Police Seek Woman Who Stole Items from Sears
Security guard recovered items in parking lot; woman left before police arrived.

Suffolk Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who stole items from Sears in East Northport on June 14.
The woman entered Sears, at 4000 Jericho Turnpike, around 4:10 p.m. and took clothing and perfume and left the store without paying, say police. A security guard approached the woman in the parking lot and recovered the merchandise. She left prior to police arrival.
The woman is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a heavyset build. She appears to be in her mid-40s to early-50s. She was wearing a peach and red shirt and glasses.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information
that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call
anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
