Prostitution Charges For 2 After Massage Parlor Bust On Long Island: Police

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Two women were arrested at an East Northport massage parlor and charged with prostitution on Thursday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said that in response to a community complaint, police investigated Vernal Spa Massage on Jericho Turnpike and arrested two employees.

Danping Yu, 61, of Amityville, and Yuyun Xu 53, of Flushing, were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, an E felony and prostitution, a B misdemeanor.

Police said both women were issued desk appearance tickets and are slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
