Prostitution Charges For 2 Women After Massage Parlor Bust On Long Island: Police

Two women were arrested at an East Northport massage parlor and charged with prostitution on Long Island, Suffolk police say.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Two women were arrested at an East Northport massage parlor and charged with prostitution on Wednesday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said that in response to a community complaint, police investigated Wonderful Body and Foot Spa Massage on Jericho Turnpike and arrested two employees.

Yu Lan Li, 60, and Suhong Lyu, 50, both of Flushing, were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, and prostitution, a misdemeanor, police said.

Police said both women were issued desk appearance tickets and are slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

Police conducted the investigation in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspectors.

The Town of Huntington issued seven other violations and are conducting a further investigation into the business, police said.
