Northport ranked, but Chaminade and Garden City sit atop state boys lacrosse rankings.
Northport lacrosse is off to a strong start.
The New York State Sportwriters Association released its first boys lacrosse rankings of the season this week and two Long Island programs sit in the top spot.
Catholic power Chaminade is the No. 1 team in the state Class A rankings while Garden City is No. 1 in Class B. Northport is No. 11 among A schools. See the full state rankings here.
