'Sweet, Gentle, Loving' Ghost: Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week

NORTHPORT, NY — Ghost, a 7-month-old male tabby, is the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kitten of the Week.

"Ghost is one of the sweetest kittens ever," said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

He was covered with filth and fleas when he was rescued, according to Wild. However, he holds no grudges and simply wants attention.

"In foster care he thrived, loving affection and snuggles and always up for some playtime, even some human board games!" Wild wrote. "He will sit on your lap during a game of Scrabble and help you win!"

Ghost loves other cats and plays with them with ease and was good when introduced to a dog, Wild said.

"This sweet, gentle, and loving boy is currently at Petco Commack, waiting to be noticed!" Wild said. "He does not like being there and so we hope to get him adopted soon! Come on down and meet Ghost and all his friends at our Adoption Event at Petco Commack, this Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 30 Veterans Memorial Highway, Commack. It is the perfect time of year to add some furry love to your home! We guarantee you will fall in love."

Ghost is neutered, has all of his shots, is litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
